A bouquet of refined, yellow fruit accents, hay flowers and juvenile yeast underlined with a hint of brioche; first a silky mouthfeel, then dry and very fresh but quite juicy, medium bodied, with hints of pome fruit and a subtle dash of mango, elegant grip, a touch of herbs, a lot of spice and minerals in the finale. A highly pleasurable, Burgundian-style of wine; this is an extremely versatile food-companion that might equally please red- and white wine drinkers, should they wish to agree on one single bottle for the meal.

Refined, slightly lifted herbal and white fruit accents in the aroma, elegantly interwoven with roasted hazelnuts and bay leaves; firm acid structure but well rounded, ripe apple and pear characters on the front palate, good texture, delicate fruit referring to the Pinot Blanc, well rounded, not fleshy but fully present mouthfeel through the Pinot Gris, a hint of herbs and spice, juicy finale. A highly pleasurable, not too serious Burgundian-style of wine.

Finely-tuned is this Pinot Gris/Pinot Blanc cuvee , “Grauburgunder” accounting for the lion’s share, subtle and inviting bouquet with hints of brown sugar, red berries, hay flowers and some juvenile yeasty notes; dry, fresh and tightly woven, then smooth and fleshy with medium body; some fruit sweetness, well balanced, just getting ready to drink with good length and potential.

Fine-tuned - this time as a Cuvée with the Grauburgunder (Pinot Gris) making up the lion's share. Notes of caramel and cotton candy, also a little cornelian cherry; intense yet elegant. A powerful, firm body;  polished and straightforward;  uncomplicated on a high level. With a delicate touch of yeast underneath; good persistent length. A good prognosis!
