Behind juvenile and slightly reduced yeasty tones unfolds a bouquet of white flowers, lemon peel and herbal spice (Earl Grey), fresh & dry on the palate, with hints of white peaches, pineapple & citrus as well as honey, showing good substance and body, quite tightly woven with some grip and a strong acidic backbone leading to a nice lingering and spicy finish.
Donauriesling is a young Austrian fungus resisting and therefore eco-friendly varietal (PIWI). Due to its robustness, less tractor drives through the vineyard are necessary and we may not only avoid soil compaction but also save fuel reducing our CO2 output substantially.
Naturally, to reach its full potential all further quality measures, such as yield reduction, perfect canopy and soil management must be maintained.
