Glorious November Harvest

Friday 8th and Tuesday 12th of November were just glorious harvesting days! We brought in healthy grapes from Heiligenstein, Grüner Veltliner old vines (Alte Reben), Lyra, Lamm and Spiegel.
Grapes with botrytis or shriveled berries have been left in the vineyards. Later they might be harvested as Beerenauslesen, Trockenbeerenauslesen or as Icewine. Despite the high amount of sweetness in the musts, freshness – acidity is still remarkable – as with Riesling Heiligenstein it is around 10,5g/l!
