In its current issue 7/24, Austria's wine magazine VINARIA published the results of its latest Grüner Veltliner and Riesling Premium tastings. In the concert of Austria's fruit-filled, open 2023 premium Veltliners and Rieslings, Bründlmayer's flagship wines from the 2022 vintage held their own performing spectacularly.

Both the “Alte Reben*” from the most famous Kamptal Riesling vineyard Heiligenstein, “which is apparently conceived for eternity”*, and the legendary 2022 Veltliner from the Lamm vineyard emerged from the tastings as top of the vintage: “The best 2022 - and not only that, but also right at the top of the 2023s in terms of points - was the ‘Lamm’ Veltliner from “old master” Willi Bründlmayer from Langenlois. Year after year, a wine monument that only comes out of the cellar in the second year after the harvest. The youthful “Lamm”, which was matured in large and small wooden barrels, already hints at its greatness. But if you let this wine breathe in a large glass, you will see your grow."**
