Austria's best Muskateller with wines from the 2023 vintage have just been presented in the new July 24 issue of VINARIA magazine.
We are delighted to present our Ried Rosenhügel Muskateller 2023 as the winner from around 180 participants in this traditional varietal challenge!
“The decisive criterion for a successful 2023 was extremely careful hand-picking. The clarity of the Muskateller does not tolerate a single damaged berry. I speak of sound like a bell, a bell whose sound perception can range from “a feast for the ears!” to “it's too loud for me” (Willi Bründlmayer in an interview, Vinaria Magazine, p. 46)
Vinaria Tasting Notes: Spicy and peppery, firm and full bodied, dark foliage, bergamot, smoky notes, cool and fresh, lime, green pineapple; crisp, very elegant, finely fruity, clear as a bell, finely polished, graceful, delicate fruit sweetness, with some bite, medium length.
